Conditions of participation for the “30 years of Change our Tomorrow” competition
Eligible to participate are
- all students and
- employees of the UAS Technikum Wien,
- the Technikum Wien Gmbh and
- all external lecturers employed as such during the competition period and
- all graduates of Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programs and Master’s courses.
The competition period covers the period from March 21, 2024 to April 8, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. All entries received by then via the online entry form will be considered.
Participation is only possible by filling out the German or English participation form on the website of UAS Technikum Wien, including uploading or providing a video contribution.
Participation in the competition is only possible under the conditions listed here. By participating, participants expressly accept these conditions of participation.
By providing the data for participation in the competition, the participants agree to the processing of the personal data provided (name, e-mail) for the purpose of conducting the competition. This consent can be revoked at any time by sending an email to marcom@techinkum-wien.at. With a revocation, the participants automatically withdraw their participation in the competition. The participants themselves are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the data provided.
In addition, the participants agree that the video provided by them may be published in full or in a version shortened by UAS Technikum Wien on the website, the social media channels and the YouTube channel of UAS Technikum Wien and shown at events of UAS Technikum Wien.
Participation in the competition is voluntary. Any costs incurred by participants as a result of taking part are non-refundable.
The University of Applied Sciences Technikum Wien accepts no liability for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered by participants as a result of preparing to take part, taking part in the competition or accepting a prize.
The selection of videos for the final compilation is the responsibility of the Marketing & Communications department of UAS Technikum Wien in consultation with the management.
All participants whose video is included in the final compilation will be considered winners.
The winners will be notified by UAS Technikum Wien and will each receive a voucher from Wunschgutschein GmbH worth 300 euros as a prize.
All winners will also be invited by UAS Technikum Wien to a trip to the CERN research center in Switzerland by the end of 2024 at the latest. The invitation and date will also be sent by e-mail. Up to eight winners will have their travel expenses and accommodation paid for as part of this trip. Places are reserved for the first eight participants who accept the invitation by e-mail.
A cash payment, payment in other material assets or exchange of the prize – both voucher and travel participation – is not possible.
In the event of a breach of these conditions of participation or the provision of false personal data, the University of Applied Sciences Technikum Wien reserves the right to exclude persons from the competition.
The organizer of the competition is the University of Applied Sciences Technikum Wien, Höchstädtplatz 6, 1200 Vienna. Responsible department: Marketing & Communications.
Legal recourse is excluded.
The University of Applied Sciences Technikum Wien reserves the right to amend, supplement or discontinue the competition and the conditions of participation without prior notice and without giving reasons.

The personal data provided for the competition will only be processed in connection with the competition; no data will be transferred to third parties that is not provided for in the competition itself.
After the end of the competition and the announcement of the winners, the personal data of the participants will be deleted. In the case of non-cash prizes, the winners’ data will be stored for the duration of the statutory warranty claims in order to arrange for a repair or replacement in the event of a defect.
