Annual conference: Biomedical engineering knowledge and the European perspective

This year’s annual conference of the Austrian Society for Biomedical Engineering (ÖGBMT) took place at the UAS Technikum Wien on November 2nd and 3rd.
The annual conference of the Austrian Society for Biomedical Engineering (ÖGBMT) was organized by a team consisting of employees of the Faculty of Life Science Engineering at the UAS Technikum Wien. With an impressive 70 participants from various areas of medical technology, the event was a lively exchange of ideas and innovations. Particularly noteworthy were the captivating keynotes by Prof. Heinrich Schima, PhD, who gave inspiring insights into cardiovascular research, and Univ.-Doz. Günter Schreier, who shared his extensive knowledge of biomedical engineering and the European perspective on this field.
Diversity led to a dynamic and inspiring atmosphere
It was gratifying to see that our conference was also well received internationally, with participants and contributions from Ukraine, among others. This diversity led to a dynamic and inspiring atmosphere. The good atmosphere, the lively networking and the high-caliber presentations made this annual conference a complete success. We would like to thank all participants, speakers and supporters who contributed to this.
