Breakdown of the Academic Year 2022/23

In its meeting on 22 February 2022, the UAS Council of the UAS Technikum Wien decided on the following breakdown of the academic year 2022/23 pursuant to § 7 sub-section 1 of the section of the statutes entitled “Academic Regulations / Examination Regulations”.
- Start of the academic year: Thursday, 1 September 2022
- End of the academic year: Thursday, 31 August 2023
Winter Semester 2022/23
- Start of semester: Thursday, 1 September 2022
- Autumn break: Thursday, 27 October 2022 to Monday, 31 Oktober 2022
- Christmas break: Saturday, 24 December 2022 to Friday, 6 January 2023
- End of semester: Tuesday, 31 January 2023
- examination-free period: Wednesday, 1 February 2023 to Wednesday, 15 February 2023
Summer Semester 2023
- Start of semester: Thursday, 16 February 2023
- Easter break: Saturday, 01 April 2023
- End of semester: Saturday, 15 July 2023
- Non-teaching and examination-free period: Sundy, 16 July 2023 to Thursday, 31 August 2023
*The academic year consists of the winter semester, the summer semester and the periods of time free from teaching and examinations. It begins on September 1 and ends on August 31 of the following year. Each year the UAS Council has to issue more detailed provisions regarding the beginning and the end of the semesters and periods of time free from teaching and examinations and to make these public in an appropriate manner.
