Brno University of Technology Visits: Opportunities for International Cooperation

The delegation from Brno University of Technology explored opportunities for international cooperation in education and research at UAS Technikum Wien.
A delegation from Brno University of Technology visited UAS Technikum Wien on February 26, 2024 to explore opportunities for future collaboration. The visit was characterized by a lively exchange of ideas and information between the two educational institutions.
By presenting the range of courses on offer and various ongoing projects, such as in the field of artificial intelligence or the drone demonstrator, the delegation from Brno University of Technology was able to gain an in-depth insight into the diverse research activities of the Electronic Engineering & Entrepreneurship and Computer Science & Applied Mathematics faculties.
Student exchange and joint research projects
The delegation also had the opportunity to visit selected laboratories such as the Smart Living Lab, the IoT Lab, the GEL Lab, the Electronics Lab and the Intensive Care Unit as well as the Health & Care Data Center, which gave the representatives of Brno University of Technology a direct insight into the practical training offered to students at UAS Technikum Wien.
In the discussions between the representatives of both institutions, there were intensive discussions about potential cooperation in the area of student exchange and joint research projects.
This visit lays the foundation for cross-border cooperation, which has the potential to promote innovative education and research and broaden the horizons of students at both universities through exchange opportunities.
