Career Start 2023: Academic professionals of the future networked with 131 companies

In mid-October, 131 companies met more than 700 technical students at the Career Start at UAS Technikum Wien to conduct recruiting interviews and make initial contacts.
From October 16 to 19, 2023, Career Start, a 4-day career event, took place at UAS Technikum Wien. Companies were invited to present themselves at one of the booths at the fair. Afterwards, the faculties and the Technikum Wien Academy invited to networking with a glass of sparkling wine in the auditorium. Already on the first day, the fair started with exciting workshops for interested participants.
Improving application photos, CV and Linkedin profile
In addition to a professional photo shoot for application pictures, there was also the opportunity to have your personal resume checked by an experienced recruiter and to complete an application training course. Another workshop dealt with how to stand out from the crowd with an optimized LinkedIn profile. And our experts in career field research gave an overview of what the future could hold with a technical degree.
131 companies, more than 700 students
131 companies then took advantage of 3 days of networking and recruiting conversations with the academic professionals of the future. More than 700 students from technical fields such as Computer Science & Applied Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, Electronic Engineering & Entrepreneurship or Life Science Engineering attended the Career Fair.
During the fair food trucks provided Career Start attendees with delicious burgers, pizza and coffee.
