Cruciate ligament replacement using tissue engineering – reality or vision?

Andreas Teuschl-Woller gave a lecture on cruciate ligament replacement using tissue engineering at the Orthopaedics Congress at Speising Hospital.
Numerous national and international experts took part in the “Vinzenz Group Orthopaedics Congress Days” on November 10 and 11 at the Orthopaedic Hospital Speising in Vienna and presented new findings on the topic of “Joint-preserving knee surgery – from minimally invasive procedures to partial prostheses”. The focus was on new developments in cartilage regeneration, miniscus transplants and the treatment of patellofemoral arthrosis using tissue engineering.

One of the speakers was Andreas Teuschl-Woller, Head of the Master Tissue Engineering & Regenerative Medicine program at UAS Technikum Wien, gave an exciting presentation entitled “Cruciate ligament replacement through tissue engineering – reality or vision?”. The experts used the opportunity for an interdisciplinary exchange on current research and scientific developments in the near future.
