Current Topics in Life Science Engineering: Final Event for the overarching Course

Students from Biomedical Engineering and Human Factors and Sports Engineering worked together.
On Friday, 20.1.2023, the final event for the course “Current Topics in Life Science Engineering” took place in the Festsaal of the FH Technikum Wien. At the beginning of the semester, internal and external experts from four fields of expertise gave presentations on their current research. Subsequently, cross-faculty groups were formed from the students of the 5th semester of the Bachelor’s programs Biomedical Engineering and Human Factors and Sports Engineering.
The groups worked on self-selected topics and presented them in self-created short videos. The extremely creative and interesting videos were shown during the final event and evaluated by all students via Moodle. There was a prize for the best long and the best short video. In addition, the heads of the five Master’s programs of the faculty took the opportunity to present their programs.
