EBC*L certificates: 51 courses and four musketeers

Economic know-how is also important for technical specialists. Students at FH Technikum Wien who want to deepen their knowledge in the field can attend the EBC*L courses at the university of applied sciences for this purpose. The abbreviation EBC*L stands for European Business Competence* Licence and is regarded as an international certificate for business competence in the areas of core business knowledge, planning knowledge and leadership knowledge. Anyone who has earned a certificate in all three areas may call themselves an EBC*L Certified Manager.

The head of the EBC*L Academy at the University of Applied Sciences Technikum Wien, Prof. Daniel Leutgeb, can now point to a proud record of 51 courses. Of these, 24 were at level A, 15 at level B and 12 at level C. On March 11, 2022, EBC*L certificates were once again awarded to the successful participants of the past two courses. Five students were able to positively complete level A, 26 successfully completed level B, and 20 completed level C. A total of 15 graduates received their certificate as EBC*L-Certified Managers with the completion of all three levels.

Before the ceremony began, Daniel Leutgeb started by promoting the program and referred to his interview from July 7, 2021 on the Technikum Podcast (or on YouTube), in which the most important questions about EBC*L certification are answered. Afterwards, all participants were able to receive their certificates. One group of students was particularly highlighted by Daniel Leutgeb this time: Four participants had always performed together during the courses and had thus received the nickname “Musketeers”. As a gift, Daniel Leutgeb presented the four course graduates with a business board game.

As always, the event was concluded with a group photo of all the participants.
