Fascinating world of medical physics and optics explored in Jena

24 October, 2023

In July, about 30 students from the Biomedical Engineering bachelor’s program took a week-long trip to Jena, Germany, for physics experiments.

Our students of the Biomedical Engineering bachelor’s program explored the captivating world of medical physics and optics through engaging in various physics experiments in the German city of Jena. Visiting leading companies such as Carl Zeiss Meditec and Microfluidic ChipShop  and institutes, such as Fraunhofer Institute for Optics and Precision Mechanics, a Institute for Photonic Technologies, the Institute for Applied Physics (Friedrich-Schiller-Universität Jena) and the SciTec (Ernst-Abbe-Hochschule Jena) offered valuable insights and networking opportunities.

Beyond academics, they created cherished memories while exploring the picturesque city of Jena. Gratitude to professors, researchers, companies, and institutes for their support. Students’ dedication and passion for science continue to inspire and we are looking forward to their future impact in the field.
