Green Mobility – shape mobility sustainably

29 January, 2020

The University of Applied Sciences Technikum Wien aims to reducing the CO2 footprint of business trips and thus to narrowing the gap between mobility and sustainability.

With the beginning of the year 2020, all flights that take place within the framework of Erasmus+ personal mobility will be CO2-compensated. In accordance with the standards and guidelines of climate austria, the International Office in cooperation with the Erasmus+ programme supports national climate protection projects in the field of renewable energies that contribute to the avoidance of emissions.

Erasmus+ Mobility: 100% satisfaction of the mobile participants of the FH Technikum Wien

Staff mobility is not only a central instrument for the further development of competences, new learning and teaching methods, working methods, and language skills, but also an instrument for increased satisfaction! This was the result of the Erasmus survey of the project year 2018:  100% of the 51 mobile employees of UAS Technikum Wien stated that they were highly satisfied with their mobility experience. Consequently, this also increased their satisfaction at work.
