International Teaching Certificate Advanced and German Language Support as of fall 2022

UAS Technikum Wien is expanding its language workshops and support services for teaching staff.
The International Teaching Certificate will be continued in autumn 2022 with the International Teaching Certificate Advanced. The existing offer has been very well received by teachers at the UAS Technikum Wien, as can be seen from the increasing number of graduates in recent years. In 2020 and 2021, a total of 25 teachers were able to apply for the certificate, and in the current academic year more than 20 teachers are again participating in the programme. The graduates regularly inquire and show increased interest in an expansion of the existing offer, which will be available from autumn 2022: a deepening of the content and implementation in practice.
In recent years, the staff of the UAS Technikum Wien has recorded an increase in employees who do not speak German as their mother tongue. Therefore, German Language Support will be offered regularly for this target group, analogous to English Language Support, starting in autumn 2022. Language concerns of all kinds are welcome. Gabriela Schökler, from the competence field Languages, will be on hand to offer advice and support based on her many years of experience.
