Open Day at the Energy Research Park Lichtenegg

200 visitors at the research park in Lower Austria, which is co-operated on by Technikum.
In Lichtenegg, half an hour’s drive south of Wiener Neustadt, the wind is right. The ideal conditions led to the construction of a large wind power plant 20 years ago. The anniversary was the occasion for an open day, during which not only the ENERCON E66 turbine in question could be viewed. Since 2014, EVN, Solvento, Energiewerkstatt and FH Technikum Wien have been operating the Lichtengg Energy Research Park with a focus on small wind power. About 30 such turbines have already been tested in the measuring and testing facilities of the energy research park.
200 visitors accepted the invitation on June 10 and visited the Energy Research Park Lichtenegg. For those who missed it, the website offers registration options for individual and group tours as well as information on further events.
