Presentations on finance, education and accessibility: Students support Students (SSS)

On the online platform “Students Support Students”, students of the FH Technikum Wien can exchange information and find offers ranging from online lectures to job platforms. This term there are so many exciting SSS events: We have a talk about finance and investing to kick off our SS23 lecture series, then one on Education in the UK (of any interest to any prospective international student) and finally a talk about accessibility.

In addition Mark Adams (along with David Warren one of the initiators of the platform) is busy organising events in the virtual world (such as SSS virtual table tennis) and also in the physical: for example, the forthcoming international board games evening. On top of all this, there will be SSS’s first social evening in April and we are working on making our pomodoro productivity channel all the more useful.

Meanwhile, sub-channels for activities and hobbies have been set up on the SSS platform to connect people with the same interests, and a sub-platform for alumni and jobs can also be found there, where graduates* can share their information with job-seeking students at UAS Technikum Wien.
