Representatives of the Computer Science & Applied Mathematics and Life Science Engineering faculties of UAS Technikum Wien visited our partners in Rovaniemi at the end of November 2023.
The trip took the delegation from the Computer Science & Applied Mathematics and Life Science Engineering to Lapland University of Applied Sciences of Rovaniemi, Finland, a long-standing international partner institution of UAS Technikum Wien. To this day, the two institutions are not only linked by their shared experience in Erasmus+ and projects in various research areas, but also by a friendly relationship between colleagues at both institutions.
The time in Finland was used for in-depth talks and discussions. A follow-up Erasmus+ project on the topic of PrepaCare-XR was also discussed, which will focus on process optimization in medicine using virtual reality.
Building networks of experience for lecturers and students in the healthcare sector
The International Life Science Education (ILSE) research project of the Faculty of Life Science Engineering at UAS Technikum Wien was also presented. The project enables the development of experience networks for teachers and students in the healthcare sector. These international networks can provide lasting benefits in a variety of ways in professional life.
