Students of UAS Technikum Wien visited the Brno University of Technology at the end of March.

On March 24, the International Office of the UAS Technikum Wien organized for the first time a study trip to our partner, Brno University of Technology. The offer was addressed to all regular Bachelor and Master students of the UASTW. 20 students and 4 staff members of the UASTW visited the Faculty of Electronic Engineering and Communication as well as the Sports Center of the BUT in the morning.

Exciting insights into the Department of Biomedical Engineering

At the Faculty of Electronic Engineering and Communication, the students were able to gain exciting insights into the Department of Biomedical Engineering. Current projects of the department were presented and the premises were visited in a guided tour. Afterwards, the students were guided through the university’s neighboring sports center, where they were allowed to try out sports medicine equipment, among other things. In the afternoon, a guided tour of the historic city center was on the agenda, and the excursion was rounded off by a joint dinner. Afterwards, the group took the train back to Vienna.
