Successful Appearances at Best and Open Day

From March 7 to 10, 2024, “BeSt” was once again Austria’s largest education fair for careers, studies and further education with around 350 exhibitors. UAS Technikum Wien presented itself on 70 square meters with a large video wall and information stands where prospective students could find out about the portfolio of Bachelor’s and Master’s degree courses.

Commitment of the students

Over the four days of the fair, a total of 35 students answered questions from prospective students and provided direct insights into student life at eye level. In addition, 6 employees from the Marketing & Communications department and the Infocenter were on hand at the stand.

Around 1,500 contacts

Around 1,500 contacts were made with prospective students over the four days of the fair. From brief consultations to handing over information folders, from in-depth questions about job opportunities or the possibility of studying without a school-leaving certificate – the range of inquiries was wide.

There were also 4 specialist lectures and 1 panel discussion on the topic of “AI – use in everyday study and work life”.

Open Day

The Open Day took place at UAS Technikum Wien on March 15. This event is held twice a year, once in November and once in March. On this day, UAS Technikum Wien opens its doors to interested visitors, including potential students, parents, teachers and other people interested in education, so that they can form their own personal impression on site.

This time, over 800 visitors were welcomed to the UAS Technikum Wien Open Day, which was attended by around 150 students and employees of the UAS Technikum Wien.
