“Tissue Engineering” journal: Program director Andreas Teuschl joins the editorial board

In February 2020, DI Dr. Andreas Teuschl, head of the Master’s course in Tissue Engineering & Regenerative Medicine and the research field “Tissue Engineering & Molecular Life Science Technologies” at the UAS Technikum Wien, was appointed to the editorial board of the renowned journal Tissue Engineering for two years.
As a journal of the largest tissue engineering organisation worldwide, the association TERMIS, the journal is considered one of the leading scientific journals in the field of tissue engineering. On the Editorial Board, Andreas Teuschl (with the UAS Technikum Wien as affiliate) is now in good company with leading scientists in the field of tissue engineering from all over the world – such as Cornell University (Ithaca, NY), the University of California (Los Angeles), CA), the University of Maastricht (Maastricht, Netherlands), Sichuan University (Chengdu, China), Eindhoven University of Technology (Netherlands), the University of Toronto (Toronto, Ontario, Canada) or the University of Sydney (Australia).
The inclusion of Andreas Teuschl on the Editorial Board is an honourable personal recognition and is a sign of the high quality of research in tissue engineering at the UAS Technikum Wien. Positive effects of the expansion of the already very active international network can certainly be expected for the further development of the research focus. For the course, the admission to the editorial board means invaluable publicity and a further impulse for the internationalisation of the course.
