Top ranking for UAS Technikum Wien: 22nd place among Austria’s best employers 2022

In the ranking of the business magazine “trend” of “Austria’s best employers”, the FH Technikum Wien takes 22nd place this year, giving the university of applied sciences a real top ranking among the total of 300 companies ranked in the list. In the “Education and Research” sector, the UAS is even the third best institution.

For the ranking, the magazine selected more than 1,400 companies with more than 200 employees and had them evaluated in an extensive online survey. The magazine conducted the study together with the Hamburg-based statistics company Statista and the kununu rating platform. A total of more than 200,000 assessments from four evaluation channels were included in the ranking, and 8,000 employees were surveyed.

“As an employer, we offer a combination of innovative fields of activity and a fair working environment. When it comes to permanent employees, however, we are also in direct competition with private-sector companies for technical and scientific specialists. That’s why we’re particularly pleased to have performed so well in a major independent survey. This motivates us to continue working on an optimal environment for our staff,” says Gabriele Költringer, Managing Director of the UAS Technikum Wien.

Managing Director Florian Eckkrammer is also pleased with the good performance in the ranking: “A career in university teaching and research is desirable, but sometimes challenging. As a university to be so far ahead in this employer ranking confirms that we are on the right track,” says Eckkrammer.
