UASTW named as one of the three best Erasmus+ projects in Austria for the third time!

05 December, 2019

Every year, the Austrian National Agency Erasmus+ Bildung nominates projects of outstanding quality and exceptionally committed project management in the Austrian education sector. For the third time, the mobility project of FH Technikum Wien was nominated among the best three in the field of Higher Education in Austria during yesterday’s ERASMUS+ Award 2019 ceremony on December 3, 2019.

Among the more than one hundred submitted projects in the category of higher education, the University of Applied Sciences Technikum Wien convinced the jury above all by the high satisfaction of the mobile participants (students and employees) as well as in the areas of Internationalisation@Home and the dissemination of the project results.

Highlights of the project included several international events on campus, such as the international fair, the international dinner with incoming students, the implementation of intercultural training for outgoing students, as well as delegation visits to selected partner institutions in order to discuss strategic partnership and future collaboration.

Delighted about the appreciation of the work of all involved in the Erasmus+ project, Rector Fritz Schmöllebeck and Agnes Kriz, head of the International Office, accepted the nomination on behalf of the University of Applied Sciences Technikum Wien.
