Regular networking of female managers is crucial at technical universities in order to promote support, knowledge exchange, mentoring relationships and visibility.
Female leaders play a crucial role in shaping the academic landscape and promoting equality and diversity. In view of the fact that men often have established – even informal – networks, it is all the more important that female managers are regularly networked. The WeCanTech Lunch, which takes place twice a semester and enables regular networking between female managers at UAS Technikum Wien, serves this purpose.
By coming together and supporting each other, women in management positions send out a strong signal and create an environment in which all employees have equal opportunities to succeed.
