Car2Flex

The flagship project Car2Flex shows in three different use cases (sharing, fleet, individual) to what extent the increasing share of e-mobility for different mobility needs of private individuals and companies can be integrated into a holistic systemic approach. In different use cases, bidirectional DC charging points (e.g. for direct use of PV generation), control algorithms for system-friendly charging strategies (e.g. grid, energy, self-consumption, energy trading), as well as the integration between aggregator and booking platforms are developed. From the beginning, these technological developments are accompanied by a participation process with the users and relevant stakeholders (e.g. building developers, charging station operators). A large scale real-life implementation of controllable charging concepts and measurements of reference electric vehicle use will completed the overall goal of enabling new services, especially for the defined target group of building developers, private individuals / e-vehicle users, car sharing- and fleet operators.
