Implementation of Urban Future Quarters with Actor Networking and Legal-Economic Replicable Solutions (ZQ3Demo)

The aim of the ZQ3Demo project is to develop a replicable approach that contributes to making Plus-Energy-Quarters (PEQ) suitable for mass production and thus to making an important contribution to decarbonizing the building sector. To this end, the project will accompany a total of three inner-city neighborhoods over a period of three years in order to demonstrate ecologically and economically sustainable solutions for the implementation of plus-energy neighborhoods using real examples. The neighborhoods under consideration serve as showcase models with accompanying research, monitoring and operational optimization, as well as the further development of technical system solutions with regard to architecture, building energy systems and neighborhood networking. Furthermore, the increase in acceptance of PEQ is to be promoted through the active involvement of users and targeted communication and information strategies.
