Serve-U

The Serve-U project develops and validates an energy use optimization platform that enables energy communities to flexibly control the use of renewable energy sources in a demand-optimized manner with minimal technical and financial effort. For this purpose, high-resolution meteorological generation estimation, exchange-based price data and self-learning consumption forecasts are integrated into an energy optimization model to be created (Serve-U). A high degree of security and scalability has been achieved by focusing on available generation, load (smart meter and inverter data) and market data, partly based on open standards and non-invasive senorics. Furthermore, Serve-U investigates the economic / ecological potential of such low-cost optimization approaches for energy communities, taking into account user-specific requirements.
