All the important information regarding contact and instructions can be found on the learning platform in the blue navigation bar under “Help”.
Teaching Events
Lunch & Teaching
Every few months, an approximately one-and-a-half-hour event is held together with the departments that focusses on a current topic in teaching. Past events included presentations and discussions on such topics as laboratory teaching, Moodle plugins (STACK) and ChatGPT.
After the technical input, different ideas can be discussed and tried out over a joint lunch.
Teachers Peer Exchange TEA(CH)
Every last Wednesday evening of the month, we talk about your current teaching over tea and homemade cake. Ideally you bring a problem/challenge/tip/success to share. In some months we also focus on a special topic, e.g. videos in teaching. The entire affair is moderated by the Teaching Support Team. No pre-registration is necessary and you are also more than welcome to bring some colleagues along.
You can find more information and all the dates on this information poster.
Teaching Award
Every year, UAS Technikum Wien honors the best courses with the Teaching Award. Both teachers and students can nominate and submit outstanding courses from the current academic year (WiSe 2022/23 and SuSe 2023). A jury consisting of management, the Rector’s office and delegates from various UAS Technikum Wien interest groups decides on the winners and awards several prizes for the different categories at a festive event in autumn.
